The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Schedule 2023. According to the schedule, the PCS Main Examination will be conducted from September 26th to September 29th, 2023. The dates for this examination are available on the official website of UPPSC, uppsc.up.nic.in.
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Schedule 2023
As per the examination schedule, the PCS Main Examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift of the examination will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second shift will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Initially, the UPPSC had announced the PCS Main Examination dates for September 23rd, but later, these dates were changed.
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Paper And Marks
The PCS Main Examination of UPPSC will include papers on General Hindi, Essay, and General Studies. The General Hindi paper will carry 150 marks, and General Studies and optional subjects will be worth 200 marks. Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for an interview, after which the final results will be announced.
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Admit Card
According to the examination schedule, candidates will receive their admit cards three to four days before the examination. After that, they can visit the official website to download their admit cards. The steps for downloading the admit card will be provided on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in, which will require registration numbers and other details.
All candidates are advised to download the admit card as soon as it is released. It’s important to note that entry to the examination center will not be allowed without the admit card. Additionally, candidates are encouraged to read the guidelines provided in the admit card and arrive at the exam center accordingly.
UPPSC PCS Preliminary Exam
The UPPSC PCS (Preliminary) Examination was held on May 14th, and the results were announced on June 27th. A total of 344,877 candidates appeared for the preliminary examination, out of which 4047 candidates were selected for the Main Examination.
