Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a highly significant notice regarding the upcoming examination for recruiting 1.70 lakh teachers in the state. The notice specifies that there will be no negative marking in the teacher recruitment exam. This decision comes after previously announcing a one-fourth negative marking system.
Additionally, the BPSC has provided an opportunity to candidates who uploaded incorrect photos during the process of updating their e-admit cards. These candidates can correct their photos and upload the correct ones on the BPSC dashboard until August 20.
Examination Dates and Centers
The teacher recruitment exam is scheduled to take place from August 24 to 26, with approximately 8.15 lakh candidates participating across 850 centers, including 40 in Patna.
Key Points Highlighted by BPSC in the Notice
- No Negative Marking: Although instructions related to negative marking will be mentioned in the question paper, any negative marking will not be considered in the result.
- Photo Correction: Candidates who mistakenly uploaded the wrong photo while updating their e-admit cards have been given the chance to rectify it. The link to correct the photo will be available on the BPSC dashboard from August 18 to 20.
- Carry Extra E-Admit Card Copy: All candidates must carry an extra copy of their e-admit card with them during each shift of the examination. This copy should be signed in front of the invigilator.
- Download E-Admit Card by August 20: All candidates are advised to download their e-admit cards before August 20. Detailed information about the examination center code will be available from August 21, 2023.
Examination Day Instructions
Candidates are required to arrive at the examination center one and a half hours before the exam starts. After a verification process, they will be allowed to enter the exam hall one hour before the exam begins. Students who arrive late will not be permitted to enter. The BPSC has also requested secretary-level officials to be present as observers during the exam. Jamming devices will be used at the examination centers.
Additional Measures
The BPSC has prepared a jacket for sealing the OMR sheet this time. Even after the exam concludes, candidates will not be allowed to leave without invigilator permission, which will be granted only after the OMR sheet is sealed. Students will be allowed to use only black, blue ballpoint pens, and white ballpoint pens during the exam.
